LaLiga Impulso: 41 clubs gathered during a week in Madrid (ESP) for a working session with CVC

International strategy, new digital tools, brand building, technological development, the commercial operation of stadiums, human resources management and organisational structures, were the main topics on which the 41 LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank clubs worked for a week in Madrid (ESP), as part of the deployment of LaLiga Impulso, an agreement that links the Spanish League and its clubs (with the exception of Athletic Club Bilbao, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid CF and UD Ibiza) to the investment fund CVC Capital Partners, according to the body on 23/09/2022.

This working session, which brought together 250 representatives of Spanish professional clubs at LaLiga's headquarters, follows a first one that took place in Tarragona (Catalonia, ESP) in March 2022. LaLiga Group International, the holding company in charge of developing the LaLiga Impulso strategic project, was officially created on 01/02/2022. CVC holds 8.2% of the capital in return for the promise of a total investment of €1.994bn in Spanish professional football by 2024.
