NBA: Sky extends broadcasting rights in the UK and Ireland for 2022-23

Sky has extended its exclusive broadcasting rights to the National Basketball Association (NBA) in the UK and Ireland, for 2022-23, announced the pay-TV operator on 28/09/2022.

"A packed schedule on Sky Sports includes 135 regular seasons games, All-Star Weekend, the best matchups from Round One and Round Two of the playoffs and every moment of the Conference Finals and NBA Finals. Once again Sunday's weekly primetime evening game will be streamed for free on Sky Sports YouTube alongside coverage on Sky Sports Arena. Sky Sports' new magazine show 'NBA on Fire' will recap and analyse the week's NBA action. NBA Action continues every Thursday evening throughout the season on Sky Sports Arena and Sky Sports Mix, providing news and analysis," explained the operator.

Sky acquired broadcast rights to the NBA and WNBA, in the UK and Ireland, over the 2018-2022 cycle, on 15/10/2018. The BT Sport pay-TV package held the rights over the 2013-2018 cycle.
