FC Bayern Munich: M. Diederich to succeed J-C. Dreesen as CFO & executive vice chairman in July 2023

Michael Diederich will be the new chief financial officer and executive vice chairman of FC Bayern München AG, the commercial structure of FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga), from 01/07/2023, announced the German club on 29/09/2022.

The current spokesman of the board at the German bank HypoVereinsbank - UniCredit Bank, will succeed Jan-Christian Dreesen, who "informed chairman of the supervisory board Herbert Hainer that he would not extend his contract, which expires next summer (30/06/2022)," said Bayern Munich.

"Since 2018, Diederich has also been a member of the supervisory board of FC Bayern München AG. Diederich will be appointed as a regular member of the executive board of FC Bayern München AG as early as 01/04/2023 in order to ensure a smooth transition in the subsequent three months until he takes office as chief financial officer and executive vice chairman," explained the Bavarian club.
