Matchday 8 of the 2022-23 Bundesliga season drew an average of 46,759 spectators per game, from Friday 30/09 to Sunday 02/10/2022. The average stadium fill rate was 90.1%. The last time attendance figures were this high in the German championship was in April 2019 (48,994 spectators per game, Matchday 29 of the 2018-19 season).

FC Bayern Munich - Bayer 04 Leverkusen (4-0) on Friday 30/09/2022 (kick-off at 20:30 CET) was the game that posted the best attendance with another sold-out match at the Allianz Arena (75,000 capacity).
