Angers SCO: a robot enabling hospitalised children to go behind the scenes during home games

"On the occasion of the Ligue 1 Uber Eats Angers SCO - Olympique de Marseille match (0-3, 30/09/2022) at the Stade Raymond-Kopa, the SCO Fondation (the club's foundation) is providing a child hospitalised at the CHU Angers (University Hospital Centre) with a remote-controlled and connected robot to follow the match behind the scenes and chat with the players before and after the match," announced the club on 30/09/2022.

SCO Fondation, in partnership with the CHU Angers, will use its robot equipped with a camera and wheels that can be remotely controlled via the keys of a computer keyboard at each home game. The children will also be able to attend training sessions, watch the teams arrive at the stadium, visit the stadium and talk to the players and staff.
