"Moving to 48 teams at the 2026 World Cup? I don't understand it. Why not 120 one day? If it's about developing football around the world, I think there are other ways. When you think about the players, you think it's madness and the quality of the show also depends on its rarity," said Pierre Ferracci, president of Paris FC, during Think Football 2022, at the FFF headquarters on 04/10/2022.

"Competition formats for making football more attractive" was the theme of a round table discussion moderated by Laurent Fellous, a sports agent and lawyer specialised in sports law, and which featured, in addition to Pierre Ferracci:
• Olivier Létang, president of LOSC Lille,
• Jérôme Perlemuter, general secretary of the World Leagues Forum,
• David Terrier, vice-president of the UNFP.

"Who decides? That is the question. FIFA will generate $6bn (€6.1bn) in profits during the 2022 World Cup. But did you know that Barça lost four players during the last international break?" said Olivier Létang.
