MLS: Alaska Airlines extends as shirt sponsor of the Portland Timbers, Ivy Funds with Kansas City

The airline Alaska Airlines extended its shirt sponsorship of the Portland Timbers (MLS) until 2015, and Ivy Funds, a financial services company, has extended its shirt partnership with Sporting Kansas City (MLS) until 2022, the respective clubs announced on 13/10/2014. Financial terms of the contract extensions were not announced.

Alaska Airlines has been shirt sponsor of the Portland Timbers since 2011. The airline will continue to support the Community Fund of the franchise, which provides sports and educational services to children. The company invites 25 children to each home game, and will be the main sponsor of the football camps for youth that the franchise organises each summer. Alaska Airlines paid €2.2 million to the franchise for the 2014 season

Ivy Funds has been on the shirt of Sporting Kansas City since 2013. The company is also present on the advertising boards at Sporting Park (capacity 18,500), and will continue as the naming partner of the Ivy Funds Executive Level section of the stadium.
