IOC: Anne-Sophie Voumard to replace Timo Lumme as MD of Television & Marketing Services in 2023

Anne-Sophie Voumard will take over as managing director of IOC Television & Marketing Services SA from 01/01/2023, announced the International Olympic Committee on 05/10/2022. She will succeed Timo Lumme (61), who has held this position since 2004 and is due to retire on 31/12/2022.

Anne-Sophie Voumard has been with the IOC for 13 years, including since 2015 as vice president for broadcast & media rights alongside Timo Lumme.

"Ms Voumard is a lawyer qualified from the Bars of both Geneva (SUI) and England and Wales. She holds an MBA in international management, and joined IOC TMS in September 2009. Her professional background includes more than 18 years of expertise in the international sports business industry, working for UEFA (2000-2003) and the America's Cup (sailing, 2003-2005), as well as sports equipment manufacturer Columbia Sportswear (2005-2009). A dual Swiss and Portuguese national, she speaks five languages (French, English, Portuguese, German and Spanish)," explained the IOC.
