beIN Media Group: acquisition of TV rights for AFC competitions in the MENA region for 2022-2032

The Qatari pay-TV group beIN Media Group has acquired the broadcasting rights in the MENA region (excluding Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Iran and Iraq) to competitions organised by the AFC over the 2022-2032 cycle (i.e. three cycles), announced the Asian Football Confederation on 06/10/2022.

"For the initial 2022-2024 period, the agreement grants beIN exclusive rights to all AFC competitions in certain MENA territories. In addition, beIN Sports has non-exclusive broadcast rights in the following territories: Chad, Djibouti, Mauritania, Somalia and Sudan. For the 2025-2028 and 2029-2032 cycles, beIN has exclusive rights to all AFC competitions across 17 countries of the MENA region and non-exclusive rights in: Chad, Djibouti, IR Iran, Mauritania, Somalia and Sudan," explained the AFC.
