UEFA: partnership with the European Commission renewed and reinforced until 2025

Aleksander Ceferin (SVN), president of UEFA, and Margaritis Schinas (GRE), vice-president of the European Commission (EC), have renewed the cooperation agreement initially concluded in 2014 (and previously extended on 21/02/2018), at the European Commission's headquarters in Brussels (BEL), on 06/10/2022.

"This latest institutional accord takes the partnership between the European Commission and UEFA - structured around key EU priorities such as climate action, equality for all and social inclusion - to new levels, focusing on Europe's priority challenges and providing a roadmap for joint efforts up to 2025," said UEFA.

"The European Commission and UEFA are set to intensify joint efforts to use football's influence to drive positive change across Europe after renewing and strengthening their long-standing institutional partnership," added the European Football Confederation.
