LaLiga Santander: RC Celta launches an academy in South Africa, the club's 11^th outside Spain

RC Celta (LaLiga Santander) and Pereira Ocean Products, a South African company operating in the fishing industry, have joined forces to support the work of the Celta Academy Evaton, located in the suburbs of Johannesburg (RSA), announced the club on 05/10/2022.

Pereira Ocean Products will become an official sponsor of the football school "by contributing, among other things, to the improvement of the facilities" of the school, which was founded (independently) in 2001 and has more than 200 boys and girls aged between 6 and 17. RC Celta "will include the Evaton Academy in its network of official schools in different international headquarters and will provide its methodology, advice, theoretical and practical training, as well as the necessary official equipment. The Celta Foundation will periodically send some of its coaches to Evaton and will receive players from the Celta Academy Evaton in Vigo for the continuation of their training and sports education," explained the two parties.
