The German club also leads its Spanish rivals in terms of stadium attendance. Since the start of the 2022-23 season, the Signal Iduna Park (81,365 capacity) has hosted an average of 80,899 spectators for an average stadium fill rate of 99.4%. This is higher than the average attendance of 37,120 spectators at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán (43,883 capacity) in Seville (ESP), which has an average stadium fill rate of 84.6%. Borussia Dortmund are also ahead in terms of their number of season ticket holders, with 55,000 versus 39,000 for Sevilla.
