Women's Bundesliga: 2023-2027 TV rights sold to 5 broadcasters in Germany for €5.17m/per year

The telecommunications operator Deutsche Telekom, the OTT platform DAZN, the German public broadcasting groups ARD and ZDF and the German pay and free-TV group Sport1 have acquired the broadcasting rights, in Germany, to the Flyeralarm Frauen-Bundesliga for four seasons over the 2023-2027 cycle, announced the DFB on 12/10/2022.

The annual rights fee is multiplied by 16 and will be €5.17m gross per year, totalling €20.68m over four years, according to the DFB. The OTT platforms Magenta Sports (Deutsche Telekom) and DAZN will broadcast all matches in full. ARD and ZDF will broadcast ten matches free-to-air each season, while Sport1 will show the Monday night match (19:30 CET) free of charge.

Deutsche Telekom has held the broadcasting rights to the Flyeralarm Frauen-Bundesliga in Germany since the 2017-18 season.

• "The new scheduling format includes one match on Friday, two matches on Saturday and Sunday, and the Monday evening match. On the final matchday of each season, all six Flyeralarm Frauen-Bundesliga matches will be played simultaneously on the Sunday," explained the DFB.
