France: M6 launches new pay streaming platform 6play Max

M6 has launched its new pay streaming platform 6play Max, in collaboration with its technology partner Bedrock (a company specialised in the development of streaming platforms, co-owned by M6 and RTL Group), announced the French free-TV group on 11/10/2022.

"In addition to enjoying an ad-free experience (some replays may contain ads for contractual reasons, ads remain present on live channels), 6play max subscribers will have access to the following new features: download for offline consumption of content, 'cast to TV' for broadcasting content from the 6play app to the TV screen, availability of programmes for up to 30 days minimum and 1080p HD quality," said the group.

The platform is available without commitment for €2.99 per month for the first year (with a free seven-day trial period), then €3.99 per month. It is available on computer, mobile, tablet and connected TVs.
