Women's Euro 2025: Denmark, Sweden, Norway & Finland present joint bid to host the competition

Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland - supported by the Faroe Islands and Iceland - have presented their joint bid to host the Women's Euro 2025, a project dubbed "Nordics 2025", on 12/10/2022.

"Our Nordic bid offers to take the UEFA Women's Euro to the next level by growing the fan culture of women's football and organizing the biggest Women's Euro ever," said countries. The Nordic bid includes matches in the four capital cities of Copenhagen (DEN), Stockholm (SWE), Oslo (NOR) and Helsinki (FIN) and four other cities, Odense (DEN), Gothenburg (SWE), Trondheim (NOR) and Tampere (FIN), with a final at the Friends Arena in Solna, near Stockholm (SWE), the largest stadium in the four countries with a capacity of 50,000.

"Women's football in the Nordic countries has so much to offer. We offer to share with the rest of Europe our joint ambition to leave a long-lasting legacy of truly equal opportunities in football," said Lise Klaveness, president of the Norwegian Football Association.
