AC Milan: collaboration agreement with the New York Yankees (MLB) for the sale of merchandise

AC Milan (Serie A TIM) and the New York Yankees (MLB) have entered into a merchandising collaboration, announced both parties on 13/10/2022.

As part of the agreement, Milan merchandise will be on sale at the Yankee Stadium (New York, USA) from the start of the MLB playoffs on 11/10/2022. On the occasion, a section of the shop was dedicated to the Italian club's official products, including 2022-23 match kits, lifestyle collections, capsule collaborations, vintage clothing and accessories, "as well as a new collection that takes inspiration from American colleges," said AC Milan. Conversely, official New York Yankees merchandise will soon be available in the Italian club's stores in Milan (ITA).

This collaboration follows the announcement, at the time of the acquisition of AC Milan by the American fund RedBird Capital Partners on 31/08/2022, that Yankee Global Enterprises would acquire a minority stake in the Italian club.
