FIFA: the new Clearing House's operations explained to member associations

• "To centralise, process and automate payments between clubs, as a first step related to training rewards (training compensation and solidarity contribution); and
• to promote financial transparency and integrity and avoid fraudulent conduct in the transfer system."
These are the "two main objectives" of the FIFA Clearing House (FCH) that were the focus of seven webinars organised by FIFA for some "300 representatives from 160 member associations (general secretaries, heads of transfer systems, etc.)," according to the world body on 14/10/2022.

According to FIFA, the aim of these webinars was to explain "the operations of the FIFA Clearing House, which recently received a licence to operate as a payment institution in France" on 23/09/2022.

In January 2022, the International Federation opened offices at the Hôtel de la Marine, Place de la Concorde, in Paris (8th arrondissement, FRA), where it set up its member associations department and launched this Clearing House, whose mission is to centralise club payments for transfers and to ensure the distribution of training compensation…
