Premier League: Qjacker app allows Southampton fans to pre-order stadium refreshments

The Qjacker application will now allows fan of Southampton FC (Barclays Premier League) to pre-order catering products at the St. Mary's Stadium (capacity 32,000), announced the club on 16/10/2014. The application is developed by the British IT company Verteda, which specialises in mobile solutions for catering and hospitality.

Saints fans can buy food and drinks from 24 hours to 2 hours prior to the start of the match, and collect their orders in appointed areas of the stadium without having to queue. Customers can simply present the bar code provided via the application to retrieve their purchases. Qjacker is available on iOS and Android.

  • Stadiums where the Qjacker app is available:
    • Old Trafford (Manchester United, capacity 75,000)
    • Croke Park (Dublin, Ireland, capactiy 82,300)
    • Ricoh Arena (Coventry, capacity 32,600)
  • The Canadian company VenueMenu and Newcastle United (Premier League) offer an application to order refreshments inside the stadium during matches at St James Park (capacity 52,387).
