Qatar 2022: 30,000 additional rooms open for booking one month before the opening match

30,000 new rooms are open for booking in Qatar for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, announced the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC, organising committee) of the next World Cup on 17/10/2022, 34 days before the opening match Qatar - Ecuador at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al-Khor (QAT) on Sunday 20/11/2022.

"The biggest variety of accommodation is available from the Qatar Accommodation Agency. Rooms can be booked from $80 (€81) per person, per night, based on two-person occupancy. Accommodation options include hotels, apartments and fan villages," added the organising committee as the emirate prepares to welcome one million people over the 28 days of the competition. Nearly 130,000 rooms in total will be made available to foreign visitors for the event.

2.89 million tickets have been sold for the 64 World Cup matches.
