European Super League: Bernd Reichart (GER) named CEO of A22 Sports, promoter of the project

German Bernd Reichart (48), CEO of media group RTL Deutschland (a subsidiary of RTL Group) from January 2019 to December 2021, has been appointed CEO of A22 Sports, the company in charge of promoting the European Super League project ("The Super League") launched in April 2021, announced the company on 19/10/2022.

"European football is facing existential problems. As a passionate fan and newly promoted CEO of sports promoter A22, I am convinced that football can do better. Young audiences have turned to other entertainment alternatives and watch less live football. European football deserves an honest and open dialogue about its future," said Bernd Reichart, who has taken up a newly created position. The headquarters of A22 Sports Management SL are located in Madrid (ESP).
