UEFA: Women's Champions League to be integrated into EA Sports' FIFA video game from 2022-23

EA Sports, an American video game publisher belonging to the Electronic Arts group, is to become UEFA's "official partner of women's football" of as part of a "multi-year agreement" from 2022-23, announced the body on 19/10/2022. Through this new agreement, the Women's Champions League will be integrated into the EA Sports FIFA 23 video game.

According to UEFA, the knockout stages of the 2022-23 Women's Champions League will be available on the platform "in early 2023". Additionally, EA Sports will support "UEFA's marketing platform Together #WePlayStrong, which is aimed at getting more girls and women to play football," said the body. The US publisher already had exclusive licensing rights to UEFA's men's competitions since the 2018-19 season.

EA Sports has also partnered with the OTT platform DAZN to become a "global sponsor of UEFA Women's Champions League broadcast coverage" as part of a multi-year agreement, on 18/10/2022.
