NBA: LA Clippers, the first franchise to broadcast matches locally via their own platform

The Los Angeles Clippers (NBA) have launched their own OTT platform "ClipperVision" which will stream 74 (of 82) of the North American franchise's live games in the Los Angeles (California, USA) area during the 2022-23 NBA regular season, announced the LA Clippers on 10/17/2022.

This is the first time an NBA franchise has broadcast its games via its own streaming service. The platform is available for $199.99 (€203.35) for the season. The pay-TV group Bally Sports is also broadcasting 63 LA Clippers regular season games in the Los Angeles area, while free TV group KTLA is broadcasting 11 games. "Subscribers in the 2022-23 season will receive a free limited-edition LA Clippers-branded jacket and regular season access to Bally Sports+ courtesy of the Clippers," said the franchise.
