La Liga: East United (investment group) becomes shirt sponsor of Levante until 2016-17

East United, a combined Australian and South Korean investment group, became the shirt sponsor of Levante UD (Liga BBVA) until 2016-17, the club announced on 16/10/2014. The contract has a clause to stop the partnership if the club is relegated to the Liga Adelante (Spanish second division).

The contract is estimated at one million euros per season. The company also agrees to buy 1000 shirts per year as part of its public relations activities. East United wishes to develop its investments in the real estate sector in the region of Valencia (ESP), where Levante is located. The investment group also hopes to boost its image in Asia, thanks to the visibility of Liga BBVA on the continent. As part of the agreement, Levante will conduct a two-week tour in Asia in the summer of 2015.
