OL Groupe: "We're fully prepared to complete the acquisition of the majority interest" (J. Textor)

"We are fully prepared to complete the acquisition of the majority interest in Olympique Lyonnais Groupe (OLG, the holding company that owns Olympique Lyonnais). Our lead financial partner has been secured and stands ready to finance Eagle Football to buy the majority interest and provide additional capital to OLG," said John Textor, owner of US-based Eagle Football Holdings LLC, in a letter to Lyon fans published on on his personal website 19/10/2022.

The American spoke on the same day as the announcement of the suspension of the listing of OL Groupe's shares and osranes (bonds redeemable in new or existing shares, issued in 2013 and maturing on 01/07/2023) on the stock market (Euronext Paris), an indication of an imminent closing of the sale, the deadline of which is Friday 21/10/2022.
