Belgium/CSR: a VIP day for 900 Standard de Liège supporters with disabilities

The Royal Standard de Liège (Jupiler Pro League) welcomed more than 900 disabled supporters from a hundred hospitals and associations in the Wallonia region (Belgium) for a VIP day on 12/10/2022.

This initiative entitled "Extraordinary day for extraordinary supporters" took place within the framework of the Belgian club's partnership with the non-profit organisation AVIQ (Walloon Agency for a Life of Quality), and in partnership with Cainiao (logistics), a sponsor of Standard de Liège.

As part of this event, which has been running for several years, VIP guests were able to attend a first team training session, meet the players for a photo and autograph session, and visit the Maurice-Dufrasne Stadium (Liège, BEL). "The objective of this event is to include people with disabilities in social life, in particular by raising awareness and promoting access to leisure and sports for all," said the club.
