FIFA: "Elect the president and the first vice-president on the same ticket" (Jérôme Champagne)

"At the head of FIFA, elect in the future the president and the first vice-president together on the same 'ticket,' (and) the associated candidates must be from two different continents," are some of the ideas proposed by Jérôme Champagne, candidate for presidency of the international federation, in his letter "My agenda for the twenty-first century FIFA" on 20/10/2014.

"This formula will ensure the legitimacy of the acting president if the elected president of FIFA were unable to continue to perform his duties. It will also be a strong symbol of the universality of our organization, and the duty to take into account the diverse needs of football across the planet," said Jérôme Champagne in his sixth letter to the 209 national federations.
