Ligue 1 Uber Eats: 97.6% of starting players wear adidas, Nike or Puma boots (Footpack)

97.59% of starting players in the 2022-23 Ligue 1 Uber Eats (between Matchdays 1 and 10) wore boots produced by adidas, Nike or Puma (210 players in total), according to Footpack, a French site specialised in football equipment news, on 21/10/2022.

Specifically, 42.09% of the players wore adidas (92 players on average), 29.86% used Nike (65 players) and 25.64% chose Puma (56 players). Only 10 players (out of 220) sported other brands (Mizuno, Kipsta, Joma and New Balance).

"With 29.86% share of voice in Ligue 1, Nike has reached its lowest level since 2012-13," when Footpack started to study boots in the French top flight (previous reports covered the entire squads of the clubs). Meanwhile, Puma has continued to grow significantly: the German brand has gone from 4% share of voice in 2015-16 to almost 26% in 2022-23.
