La Liga: Barcelona will submit the extension with Qatar Airways to a vote of its socios in 2015

FC Barcelona (Liga BBVA) will submit for approval the shirt sponsorship contract extension with the airline Qatar Ariways for the 2016-17 season to a vote of the club's socios, and possibly the arrival of a new advertiser, at the club's 2015 annual general meeting, announced Josep Maria Bartomeu, president of Barça, at the 2014 general meeting of the club on 18/10/2014.

Concluded in March 2013, the contract between Qatar Airways and FC Barcelona officially started on 01/07/2013 and is scheduled to end on 30/06/2016. The airline pays a total of €96m for the three seasons. Qatar Airways is the first commercial company to showcase its brand on the Barça shirt.
