Javier Tebas, president of the LFP (Spanish Professional Football League), is in favour of the establishment of a system of collective marketing of the domestic TV rights for the top two Spanish professional leagues (Liga BBVA and Liga Adelante, the second division), he stated on 09/10/2014.

Javier Tebas did not specify, during Sportel conference in Monaco, when will such a system could be implemented. In Spain, clubs negotiate individually the amount of their domestic broadcasting rights directly with broadcasters. The amount of domestic broadcasting revenue of the Liga BBVA clubs was estimated at €775.5m in 2013-14. Real Madrid and Barcelona each receive €140m of that amount, or, between them, 36.1% of the total for the Liga BBVA.
