• The Premier League clubs have set a record for transfer spending in a single season during the 2022 summer transfer window alone, with the 20 clubs spending around £1.9bn in total, according to Deloitte's sports business group.
•  As in 2022, the Supercopa de España will be held in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) from 11 to 15/01/2023, announced the RFEF on 27/10/2022. Real Madrid, Barça, Valencia and Real Betis will compete.
• Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), its Foundation and its equipment manufacturer adidas "are pursuing their actions to facilitate access to sports and offer universal practice in urban areas" by inaugurating a multi-sports pitch in Vaulx-en-Velin (Rhône, FRA), on 22/10/2022.
• FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) is expected to shortly announce a sleeve sponsorship deal with cryptocurrency platform Nexo, according to the media on 27/10/2022.
• The free and pay-TV group Seven has acquired the free-to-air broadcasting rights, in Australia, to the Women's World Cup 2023.
