Bundesliga: Werder Bremen launches its own platform for ticket exchange for the 2014-15 season

SV Werder Bremen (Bundesliga) has launched its own platform for the exchange of match tickets for the 2014-15 season, the club announced on 15/10/2014. This platform, managed by the ticketing service of the club, is only available when 95% of tickets are sold for the fixture.

"The Werder ticket exchange is another step to make our season ticket more attractive," said Oliver Rau, director of sales and marketing and for Werder Bremen, on 15/10/2014. "This fits very well in our strategy to fight against the ticketing black market," he added. The ticket seller will receive 95% of the re-sale purchase price set by the club.

  • SV Werder Bremen has 23,000 season ticket holders for the 2014-15 season at the Weser-Stadion (capacity 42,500).
    • This represents 13% less than in 2013-14 (26,500 season ticket holders).
