Qatar 2022: Harold Mayne-Nicholls proposes a tournament in May-June with some matches at 1am

"You could play the first games at 7pm, the second games at 10pm and the third matches at 1am," said the Chilean Harold Mayne-Nicholls, former president of the FFC (Football Federation of Chile) from 2007 to 2011 and possible candidate for the presidency of FIFA, regarding the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, on 20/10/2014.

"You could move it towards May, until the middle of June. The weather would still be very warm at night, but the sun is not there and that could help," said Harold Mayne-Nicholls, who prefers this solution rather than moving the 2022 World Cup to winter, an alternative proposed by the Task Force of FIFA.
