United Kingdom: Sky extends partnership with Snapchat to feature Women's Super League content

The pay-TV operator Sky has extended and expanded its partnership in the UK with the social media platform Snapchat (owned by the Californian company Snap Inc) to broadcast sports content, announced the social network on 01/11/2022.

As part of the extended partnership, Sky Sports will now broadcast highlights of selected Barclays Women's Super League matches via Snapchat's "Discover" feature. Sky's own show "The Dub" will also be available on the social network, featuring news and videos from the Barclays Women's Super League. Sky Sports will continue to show highlights of every Premier League match as well as videos and programmes from the English league on Snapchat.

Snapchat has been a partner of Sky Sports in the UK since 2015. The British pay-TV package now has more than 1.8 million subscribers on the social network.
