Premier League: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter accounts of the 20 clubs (November 2022)

The 20 clubs participating in the 2021-22 Premier League season have just over 770 million fans on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and TikTok, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 02/11/2022. This total enables the Premier League to maintain its position as the most popular European Top 5 league, all four social networks combined, ahead of LaLiga Santander, with an average of 38.6 million fans per club.

Manchester United FC are the most popular English club with more than 189 million followers, 40% of which are on Facebook alone, followed by Chelsea FC, who have more than 120 million in total, and Liverpool FC, with just over 114 million.

Manchester City FC was the English team that experienced the best growth in absolute value during October 2022, with 2.8 million additional followers, the majority of which were on TikTok. Among the clubs participating in the European Top 5, only Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) performed better over the period (+3.6 million followers in total).
