FIFA/Reform of Agents' Regulations: "French law must be adjusted" (L. Nicollin, Foot Unis)

"In view of the highly competitive nature of the football industry, Foot Unis is encouraging the legislator and the public authorities to amend the French law on the dual representation and remuneration of agents of minor players (under 18 years of age)," said Laurent Nicollin, president of Montpellier Hérault Sport Club (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) and of the union of club presidents, in the editorial of Foot Unis' monthly newsletter published on 03/11/2022.

The leader is concerned about the consequences of the reform of agents' regulations that FIFA is preparing to implement (the adoption of these regulations was planned at the last FIFA Council meeting on 22/10/2022, but was eventually postponed until the body's next meeting), for French clubs.
