2023-24 Ligue 1 Uber Eats: season to begin on 12/08/2023, final matchday (34) on 18/05/2024

The 2023-24 Ligue 1 Uber Eats season will begin on the weekend of 12 and 13/08/2023, announced the LFP after the board of directors adopted the general calendar for Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 on 09/11/2022.

The 2023-24 Ligue 1 Uber Eats season will see a return to 18 clubs and will therefore have 34 matchdays in total (instead of 38 matchdays for 20 clubs in 2022-23).

Other points to note:
⚽️ Matchday 17, scheduled for Wednesday 20/12/2023, will be the only one of the season scheduled on a weekday;
⚽️ The winter break will start after Matchday 17 and the second half of the season will begin on 13/01/2024 (Matchday 18);
⚽️ Matchday 34, the final matchday will take place on Saturday 18/05/2024.

The full general competition calendar for 2023-24 will be published this Thursday 10/11/2022 after its final adoption by the FFF executive committee.

Ligue 2 BKT: key dates in the 2023-24 calendar

• In contrast to the top flight, the 2023-24 Ligue 2 BKT season will still consist of 20 clubs and the move to 18 will only take place the following season, in 2024-25.
