AC Milan: Ivan Gazidis, CEO since December 2018, to leave the club on 05/12/2022

Ivan Gazidis (GRE/RSA) will step down as CEO of AC Milan (Serie A TIM) on 05/12/2022, announced the Italian club on 09/11/2022.

"Gazidis joined as CEO in December 2018 and has led the club through a period of growth and modernisation both on and off the pitch," said AC Milan, Italian champions in 2021-22, 11 years after their previous title (acquired in 2010-11), and who were acquired at the end of August 2022 by US investment fund RedBird Capital Partners for €1.2bn.

"I owe so much to this Club, its people, its fans and to this city, that literally saved my life. If the club is in a better position now than when I arrived, it is entirely due to the work of those I have been surrounded with, from our ownership, to our chairman, our head coaches and all of the extraordinary people who live for and give everything they have for this club. I have been privileged to work with them all. I have no doubt that this foundation and the people we have in place in every position will take the club to new levels in the years ahead," said Gazidis.
