Netherlands: Ziggo Sport renews broadcasting rights for the European Cups for the 2024-2027 cycle

Ziggo Sport has renewed its exclusive broadcasting rights in the Netherlands to the European Cups for the 2024-2027 cycle, announced the Dutch free and pay-TV group on 10/11/2022.

Ziggo has extended its exclusive broadcasting rights to the Champions League and acquired the rights to the Europa League and Europa Conference League. "This unites the most important European club competitions under one roof for the first time. All matches and highlights will be available exclusively on Ziggo Sport," explained the group.

Ziggo Sport holds the full pay-TV rights to the Champions League in the Netherlands for the 2021-2024 cycle, while the free-to-air TV group RTL holds the free-to-air rights for the same period. The Dutch broadcasting group Talpa holds the free-to-air rights to the Europa League and the Europa Conference League for the 2021-2024 cycle. These rights are held on a pay-TV basis by the pay-TV package ESPN.
