Qatar 2022: Benzema, Mbappé & Griezmann, France's most followed players on social media

Karim Benzema (Real Madrid CF, LaLiga Santander) is the French player with the most fans on social media with a cumulative total of 121 million followers - 1^st on Facebook with 43 million followers, 2^nd on Instagram with 60.3 million and 1^st on Twitter with 18.1 million - as of 10/11/2022.

Kylian Mbappé (Paris Saint-Germain, Ligue 1 Uber Eats), the second most followed player overall with nearly 97 million followers, dominates the ranking on Instagram with 73 million followers.

Antoine Griezmann (Club Atlético de Madrid) completes the podium, with just over 66 million followers across the three social networks. Griezmann is the only player, along with Olivier Giroud (AC Milan, Serie A TIM) and Eduardo Camavinga (Real Madrid CF), to also have an account on the platform TikTok and is therefore present on each of the four main social networks.

By contrast, Hugo Lloris (Tottenham Hotspur FC, Premier League) is absent on social media, while 10 of the 25 players selected to play for the reigning world champions at the 2022 World Cup, do not have a Facebook account.
