2022-23 Ligue 1 Uber Eats: LFP & Kipsta present the official ball for the second half of the season

The Ligue de Football Professionnel and Kipsta, a sports equipment brand belonging to the Decathlon group, have presented the official Ligue 1 Uber Eats ball, which will be used from Matchday 16 of the 2022-23 season (28/12/2022) until the end of the season, announced the two parties on 11/11/2022.

"For the second half of the season, the official Ligue 1 Uber Eats ball is changing its design by adopting new colours. While the version for the first half of the season evoked the blue-white-red colours of the French flag, the ball for the second half of the season illustrates another image of France, that of its elegance and its past, symbolised by the colour purple, and, in contrast, its energy and enthusiasm for football, represented by the colours pink and turquoise," explained the French League.

Kipsta became the official ball supplier for the LFP's competitions for five seasons (2022-2027) on 21/04/2021. The French brand succeeded German equipment manufacturer uhlsport, which supplied the Ligue 1 balls over the 2017-2022 cycle for an estimated €1.2m per season (a total of €6m for…
