Social Networks: Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are the most followed footballers

Cristiano Ronaldo (POR, Real Madrid CF) with 139.77 million followers and Lionel Messi (ARG, FC Barcelona) with 81.5 million are the most followed football players on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to figures compiled by News Tank on 22 /10/2014.

Neymar (BRA, FC Barcelona) in third with 74.5 million followers, Ricardo Kaka (BRA, Orlando City FC, currently on loan to São Paulo FC) at 56 million and Ronaldinho Gaùcho (BRA, Querétaro FC) at 40.9 million round out the Top 5. Brazilian players comprise 4 players in the Top 10, and 7 in the top 30. Spanish players also count for 7 players in the social network Top 30.
