Metaverse: Belgian Football Association and ING (bank, NED) launch a virtual universe on Roblox

The RBFA and the Dutch bank and insurance company ING, partner of the Belgian Football Association, are entering the metaverse through "DEVILTIME", a virtual universe on Roblox, an online multiplayer video game platform (more than 50 million users connected daily), announced the body on 09/11/2022.

This digital universe, unveiled a few days before the start of the 2022 World Cup, includes a large stadium, a concert hall and several sports fields. Fans will be able to participate in mini-games and challenges to collect points "in the form of flames and tridents", allowing them to customise their avatar's outfit or add new abilities. Each player is rewarded with tickets to a virtual concert.

"Through DEVILTIME, we want to reach the younger generations in a different, innovative way. Some may be die-hard Belgian Red Devils fans, but even those who may not follow Belgian football so closely, we want to immerse them in the world of our Belgian Red Devils in this way.
