Nike: launch of "Swoosh" a Web3 platform dedicated to the creation & marketing of digital assets

Nike has launched the beta version of its own Web3 platform (a blockchain-powered technology) dedicated to the creation and marketing of digital assets on 14/11/2022. The platform is called Swoosh (welcome.swoosh.nike) and is aimed at athletes, designers, collectors and consumers.

"Nike Members will be able to learn about and collect virtual creations, which are typically interactive digital objects, such as virtual shoes or jerseys, that community members will soon be able to wear in digital games and immersive experiences. In some instances, community members will be able to unlock access to physical product or events like intimate conversations with athletes or designers," explained Nike. 

"This approach meets consumers wherever they play and shop sport and offers a gateway into a new digital arena," said Ron Faris, general manager of Nike Virtual Studios.
