LaLiga Santander: Rayo Vallecano and Villarreal on tour in Turkey during the World Cup

Villarreal CF and Rayo Vallecano de Madrid (LaLiga Santander) have organiseed a tour of Turkey during the 2022 World Cup, in collaboration with the Süper Lig, announced LaLiga on 13/11/2022.

Rayo Vallecano will play two matches in Istanbul: on 30/11 at the Şükrü Saraçoğlu Stadyumu versus Fenerbahçe SK and on 03/12 at the Nef Stadium versus Galatasaray SK. Villarreal will face Fenerbaçhe on 03/12 and then Galatasaray on 06/12/2022.

This tour is part of the LaLiga Impulso project, financed by the investment fund CVC Capital Partners, in order to "further LaLiga's internationalisation strategy and give clubs the opportunity to raise their profile abroad," explained the Spanish league.

The four matches will be broadcast in Spain on LaLiga Sports TV, LaLiga's pay-TV platform.
