FC Barcelona: record turnover of €529.9 million in 2013-14, an increase of 8% year on year

FC Barcelona (Liga BBVA) achieved a record turnover of €529.9m in 2013-14, an increase of €39.4m, up 8%, compared to 2012-13 (€490.5), announced Javier Faus, vice-president for economic affairs of the Catalan club, at the general meeting of Barça on 18/10/2014.

The 2013-14 operating profit reached €58m, up €10m (+21%) compared to 2012-13 (€48m). Net income for Barça was €41.1m on 30/06/2014, against €32.5m a year earlier. This represents an increase of 26.5% over 2012-13.

€113m profit in the last four seasons

  • The expenditures of Barça reached €471.9m in 2013-14, an increase of €29.4m, up 6.6% compared to 2012-13 (€442.5m).
  • The EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, amortization and impairment of assets) of the Catalan club amounted to €134.3m in 2013-14, an increase of €15.8m (+13.3%) compared to 2012-13 (€118.5m).
  • The net debt of the club, which corresponds to financial debt less cash and financial investments, amounted to €287m at the end of the 2013-14 season, down by €44m or -13.3 % compared to the previous season (€331m).
