Qatar 2022: "A net result of $1bn we can invest immediately for the 2023-2026 cycle" (G. Infantino)

"We will have a projected net result of $1bn (€969m as of 20/11/2022) - which we can then invest in football immediately, starting from now and for the next cycle (2023-2026) to make football grow even more around the world. I would like to simply congratulate all of you because these results are the results of the work you are doing," said Gianni Infantino, president of FIFA during the "FIFA Executive Summit 2022" in Doha, QAT, on 20/11/2022.

"FIFA's revenue at year-end (2022) would stand at $7.5bn - more than $1bn more than was budgeted (for the quadrennial period 2019-2022), with year-end expenses forecast to be $6.5bn, which includes the Legacy Fund," explained the world body.

"Our accounts are presenting very significant figures in spite of the Covid-19 pandemic and in spite of different crisis points around the world," said Gianni Infantino.
