Bundesliga: Reinhold Lunow succeeds Reinhard Rauball as president of Borussia Dortmund

German Reinhold Lunow (69) was elected president of BV. Borussia 09 e.V. Dortmund (Borussia Dortmund's association) with 99.5% of the votes, announced the Bundesliga club following its general meeting, at which 989 members were present, on 21/11/2022.

Lunow has been vice-president of the association since November 2021 and a member of the supervisory board since November 2014. He succeeds Reinhard Rauball (GER, 75), who announced in August 2022 that he would not be standing for re-election after a total of 23 years in office.

Silke Seidel (60, GER), a member of the supervisory board since November 2015, has been appointed vice president, while Reinhard Rauball becomes honorary president, a position created in his honour.

"You were a blessing for BVB, because in each of your terms of office, you were faced with the task of saving BVB. And you saved it every time! Without you, BVB would perhaps no longer exist, or not in the way we all experience it today," said Reinhold Lunow to his predecessor.
