MLS (Major League Soccer, USA-CAN) and the USSF (United States Soccer Federation) concluded an agreement with the IMG agency for the international distribution (outside the United States and Canada) of the 2015-2022 audiovisual rights to MLS and the U.S. national teams, on 22/10/2014.

The rights cover all broadcasting platforms (television, mobile media, Internet and game consoles). No amount has been provided. The agreement was made between IMG and SUM (Soccer United Marketing), a subsidiary of MLS that manages the marketing and promotion of the league, includes MLS matches and the home fixtures of U.S. men's and women's national teams, as well as the qualifying matches for the upcoming World Cups, 2018 (Russia) and 2022 (Qatar). IMG replaces MP & Silva, who distributed these rights from 2009 to 2014.

"MLS is experiencing vast growth ... unlike any other league today," (Ioris Francini, IMG)
