A final report on the project for a new stadium in Milan (ITA), which will host AC Milan and FC Inter Milan (Serie A TIM), was delivered to the stakeholders by Andrea Pillon, coordinator of the public debate, at the end of a public consultation phase, on 18/11/2022.

The subject of the public debate was the technical-economic feasibility project concerning the construction of a sports complex with a stadium with a capacity of approximately 60,000 seats, in the San Siro district, presented by AC Milan and Inter Milan to the Municipality of Milan, the organiser of this debate.

Discussions (14 meetings, 6 of which were public) were held from 28/09 to 18/11/2022. The project, whose total cost is estimated at $1.3bn, with completion scheduled for 2027-2028, includes the demolition of the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza (Milan), the other name for the two clubs' current stadium (80,000 capacity), which was last completely renovated for the 1990 World Cup.
