Lega Serie A: office to be opened in Abu Dhabi (UAE) in early 2023, the 2^nd abroad after New York

The Lega Serie A will open an office in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) in January 2023 through the creation of the subsidiary Mena FZ-LLC, announced the body on 17/11/2022. This will be the Italian League's second office abroad after one opened in New York (USA) on 25/05/2022.

"The office in Abu Dhabi will oversee the entire MENA region and will be led by Alfonso De Stefano, an expert manager with over 20 years of experience both in the regional sports media industry (at Abu Dhabi Sports Council and Abu Dhabi Media), and internationally at Infront and Aser Media," explained the Lega Serie A.

"We are very happy to carry forward our project of global expansion for the 'calcio' (football) product and of facing new challenges that represent fundamental steps for the Italian soccer internationalisation.
